Applying for a grant can seem overwhelming, but our staff is here to help you through the process. If you’re new to either grant seeking or the Frey Foundation, you may find these links helpful. You’re also welcome to reach out with questions at any time.

Helpful Information

If you have a question about our process, it’s likely that other grantees have asked it, too. We’ve put together a list of answers to the most frequent questions we hear, along with some practical advice on navigating through your application.

Please choose from the following options:

Existing accounts:

If you have submitted an inquiry, applied for a grant, or received funding from the Frey Foundation before, your organization may already be registered. If it is, but you cannot access the account, please contact your system administrator to be added to the account, or reach out to [email protected] and we will be happy to assist.

New accounts:
If your organization is not registered, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click the “Register” button.
  2. Indicate whether your organization is a current, 501(c)(3) organization or otherwise tax-exempt.
  3. If you selected 501(c)(3) organization:
    1. Follow the on-screen instructions. Please enter either the employment identification number OR the organization name OR address in the form provided. Our system will search the IRS database to help complete your profile.
    2. When the search is complete, click on your organization to open the Organization Information page.
    3. Complete the Organization and Contact Information and click “Submit” to create a profile in the system. Proceed to Step 5.
  4. If you selected Other Tax-Exempt Organization, complete the Organization and Contact Information, and click the Submit button to create a profile in the system.
  5. Once the registration process is complete, watch for an email with instructions on how to set your password. You can then log in and begin an application for funding. If additional people will be working on your application, you can also add their contact information to your Organization Profile.
  1. Log into our online grant portal.
  2. Click on “Organization Profile.”
  3. Scroll down to “New Contact” and click on “Create New Organization Contact.”
  4. Complete “Contact Information,” and we will send the new contact an email with login information.

All reports can be accessed from the online grant portal by logging in and clicking the “My Grant Reports” icon on your homepage. Please note that reports are no longer user-specific and can be accessed by all organization contacts.
