Yes, any organization with tax exempt status with an idea for impacting housing security for the ALICE population in Kent County is encouraged to apply.

No. Applicants must be tax exempt to be considered. However, private, for-profit entities may be included on a project team as long as there is a not for profit fiduciary leading the effort.

Yes, multi-county ideas are welcome however; Frey Foundation’s innovation award dollars will be targeted to Kent County.

No. While the award is capped at $150,000, our intent is to attract a range of ideas in scope and scale. If your idea would require resources above and beyond the award amount, you will have an opportunity to share other potential sources of support on the application.

Please feel free to contact a Frey Foundation program staff member at (616) 451-0303 or via email at [email protected]. Foundation staff can assist with technical and eligibility questions. However, the review of ideas will be undertaken by a diverse multi-sector selection committee. So, the idea must be submitted online in order to be considered.
